We expect to see all of the other characters from the main game (Ash, Newcastle, Seer, Valkyrie, Mad Maggie, Octane, Loba, Fuse, Rampart, Horizon) to be included in subsequent seasons, and we’ll update this tier list accordingly. You’ll notice this is a shorter list of playable characters compared to the full PC/console version of the game. This list represents purely the effectiveness of each character in the competitive game as objectively as possible, based upon playtesting in the Beta.

You can of course pick whichever character you want: some people just happen to be better playing a particular Legend, even if it’s placed on a relatively low tier, so may want to continue to do so. That being said, the core abilities and playstyle of each character remain pretty much the same, so you won’t have to relearn how to play them. This, combined with the fact that the number of playable Legends is lower in the mobile game (at least at this stage, we expect more to be added later) means that existing tier lists won’t cut it. These rewards will be available even after the reset. Participants will also be rewarded with an exclusive badge, weapon charm, and banner frame depending on how many matches they complete during the playtest. Note that all progress will be reset prior to the game’s launch and all purchased items will be converted to in-game currency of equivalent value which will be available on launch day.

They can also purchase a Battle Pass and the PremiumPLUS version which comes with bonus levels, XP, and rewards. Players also have access to the in-game cash shop where they can purchase a variety of items such as Store Vaults, Apex Packs, Lite Crates, crafting items, and cosmetics.

The regional launch build will allow players to join Battle Royale matches on the classic World’s Edge map and fight it out in Team Deathmatch, Mini Battle Royale, 3v3 Arenas. These regions include Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Mexico, Argentina, Peru, and Colombia. After a short delay, Apex Legends Mobile is now live in selected regions for a limited time to help Respawn and Lightspeed test out the game’s matchmaking system.
